The TMW sequence was developed by internationally‐renowned Tai Chi master Richard Farmer and consultant clinical and neuro psychologist Dr David Quinn, and has been taken up by the NHS in Herefordshire and by the National Exercise Referral Scheme in Wales. It’s been shown to help in a whole range of issues, from managing long‐term health conditions, rehabilitation, depression, and the challenges associated with getting older.
TMW keeps your body relaxed, healthy and feeling well because it supports you to move and breathe with awareness, so you tune in to your own unique needs. It allows you to rebalance your mind and body, particularly beneficial if you’ve lost confidence or suffer from stress. It enables you to improve your flexibility and balance, and to increase your core strength.
It takes just eight weeks to learn the sequence, and once it’s yours, it takes as little as ten minutes to practise. You’ll be given a DVD and leaflet to support you to continue your journey into health and wellbeing, so you can get the most out of your life.
